A client dinner, really?
Let's be honest: most client dinners look the same. Everything is scripted, the corporate façade never quite drops, and everyone feels the pressure of the famous "next step", a contact to share, a meeting to accept. That is exactly what we wanted to avoid.
Our priority that evening: making sure our guests had a great time and got value out of it. Even when that value doesn't come from us. The recipe is no rocket science, but it works:
- A hand-picked guest list, with a fine balance of common ground and differences to spark stimulating conversations
- An intimate, original venue that guests will happily mention later in conversation
- A seating plan carefully designed around each guest's current priorities
- Very little formal speaking time and no imposed theme
- No pretending there is nothing commercial about it, announced with a smile: "Before dessert, we will show you a short propaganda video about our new AI assistant."
