Vincent Capellano was a Data Consultant at MyTraffic between October 2025 and April 2026, working with Louis Huttaux on the analyses the consulting team produces for clients.
He built the geospatial pipelines behind those analyses in Python, using Pandas, Numpy and Shapely, with SQL queries against the company's AWS and Snowflake warehouse. Road distances came from an OSRM routing server rather than from straight-line estimates, which is the difference between a catchment area that looks right on a map and one that matches how people actually drive to a store.
He produced more than 50 custom client reports in seven months, on questions such as where to open a store, how to adjust a commercial offer to the catchment around it, and where to target a marketing campaign. That volume meant working directly with the customer success, sales and product teams rather than handing analyses over and moving on.
