Gini is a colleague who is always available and always has an answer.
Muriel Dal Corso
Executive Assistant at Nous Anti-Gaspi

Nous Anti-Gaspi receives around ten unit listings a day. With no footfall data and no precise read on catchment areas, decisions came down to what was on the market, the budget, and whatever could be found online. Gini by MyTraffic changed the method: every address is now analysed before anyone even visits.
Product used
- Decisions based on data found online
- No footfall data to choose between two locations
- Slow manual screening of a fast-growing volume of listings
- Every address run through Gini as soon as the listing arrives
- Footfall, competition, demographics and purchasing power on a single page
- Footfall becomes a knock-out criterion
Can you tell us briefly about Nous Anti-Gaspi and your role on the team?
I am an executive assistant, working mainly with Damien, our CEO. A large part of my job goes into expanding our network. I look for new units, I am in contact with all our real estate agents and everyone who sends us opportunities, and I handle the follow-up from the moment a listing comes in to the day the lease is signed.
What are your main day-to-day challenges when it comes to market analysis and site selection?
As soon as a listing comes in, I put the address into Gini, in our project dedicated to opening new stores. That filter tells me whether it is worth going further and visiting the unit. Plenty of them do not get past that stage.
The tool is indispensable for us now. We are growing fast, we get around ten unit listings a day on average, and we have to move quickly.
What frustrated you most before you adopted Gini?
Without footfall data, we are working blind. And even with it, it does not always guarantee a successful opening, so without it the risk is much higher. The number of people walking past, the number of residents in the neighbourhood, the competition already in that spot: this information is critical. I do not know how we would manage without it now.
What surprised you in your first interactions with Gini?
The accuracy of the tool was a shockingly good. It takes a little time to configure Gini for our specific need so it can produce a relevant analysis, but once that is done, the precision is striking.
Footfall is a good example. I already had that information before, but with Gini I get it in a far more visual way, straight on the map.

How has Gini changed the way you work?
Gini is always a step ahead. It pushes the thinking further than I would have on my own, and much faster. It gets me to conclusions I would only have reached much later.
The fact that Gini always suggests going further, with angles beyond the one you started from, has been real added value for us.
Can you give us a real use case where Gini gave you a decisive answer?
I handle a huge number of listings and I filter continuously with Gini before I put anything in front of our CEO Damien. One of our recent analyses comes to mind, in the 4th arrondissement: it was one of the best analyses we have had through Gini. I knew straight away from the data that we could not let that opportunity go.

How does Gini fit into your process?
I use it just about every day normally, or every other day depending on the period. Sometimes for a single address, but it has become a habit whenever an opportunity comes up.
Which features and analyses do you use most often?
I mostly go through our project dedicated to assessing new locations, which already has all the brand context built in. I look at every piece of data available: footfall, direct competition, resident density and profile within a 5 to 10 minute walk, average basket, purchasing power, demographics.
There is not one I would skip, I look at all of it. The support from our Customer Success Manager in building that tailored project was essential.
Footfall is a decisive criterion in our location choices. When it is not high enough, that is a deal-breaker, we do not make an offer. We cannot afford to get an opening wrong.
Would you recommend Gini?
Every day. It is a fantastic tool that makes an area easier to read, and the more time you spend with it the more you learn to challenge it. But most of the time it is remarkably accurate. If I had had to run this research myself, it would have taken me far longer. With Gini, everything is condensed onto a single page.
Honestly, I think the tool is great. A really good tool with impact on my day to day.
How would you describe Gini to a colleague who does not know it yet?
For me, Gini is a colleague who is always available and always has an answer.
